We, M/s Sarfraz Yaqub Engineering, are a sister concern of M/s The Electric Concern Corporation. Mr. Yaqub Alam (Late), father of Mr. Muhammad Naveed – CEO of M/s Sarfraz Yaqub Textile Mills Pvt. Ltd. and M/s Sarfraz Yaqub Engineering, started his business before partition. In 1947, a legal company was registered under the name M/s The Electric Concern Corporation, which continues to operate successfully as one of the oldest electrical goods companies in Pakistan. It supplies a wide range of electrical items to government organizations, semi-government bodies, and private sectors.
Over time, the company diversified its operations, entering the manufacturing of electrical goods and the textile business (spinning and weaving) under the names M/s Sarfraz Yaqub Textile Mills (Pvt.) Ltd. and Zainab Textile Mills Ltd. Additionally, we expanded into real estate development under the name M/s Markhor Developer (Pvt.) Ltd.
